Patton's children and their descendants except John Allen
Patton. He was
born ca 1828. He is with his sister, Mrs Elizabeth Melvina Page
in 1850
Hardin Co. Census. In 1860, he is married to Mary A.____, with
three
daughters. Elihu Hall wrote in his book "Ballads from the
Bluffs" of a
Jonnie Patton, who was accused of being associated with Eason
Bixby.
John A. Patton and Eason Bixby bought land the same day (8
October
1856)in what is Rock Creek Precinct, Hardin County, Illinois.
In 1865
Illinois State Census,Mary is listed as head of the household.
In 1870,
she is listed as head of the household with 6 daughters.
Youngest being
11/12 of age. All under the name Patton. In 1880 their
daughter, Nancy,
is married to William Frailey, and her mother, Mary, is with her.
William frailey was in prison. Nancy later obtained a divorce in
Hardin
Countyand took her maiden name back,"Patton". Can anyone help me
locate
John A. Patton, wife, Mary and daughters?

MCCONNELL,the

tradition is that
"Little" Granderson VAUGHN left Mary and her children (5) and
married
another lady in Kentucky and raised a family there. Have been
unable to
find him. Mary (MCCONNELL)AND Granderson VAUGHAN

F. Goins (1865-1932) and his wifes madien name was Gerhardt.
Ella Baldwin was born to Walter Baldwin (18?? - 192?) and Kater
Carter
(1873? - 1941?). This is abou as far as i can trace i history
on my
mother side which were from Hardin County, IL. If any one is
