FRAILEY. His father's names was James NEEDHAM who married
Melinda RIGGS. If you will post this I will appeciate it. I am
trying to learn the name of his greatgranfather who moved to

Have found all of Robert and Elizabeth
(Guthrie) Patton's children and their descendants except John
Allen Patton. He was born ca 1828. He is with his sister, Mrs
Elizabeth Melvina PAGE in 1850 Hardin Co. Census. In 1860, he is
married to Mary A.____, with three daughters. Elihu Hall wrote
in his book "Ballads from the Bluffs" of a Jonnie Patton, who
was accused of being associated with Eason Bixby. John A. Patton
and Eason Bixby bought land the same day (8 October 1856)in what
is Rock Creek Precinct, Hardin County, Illinois. In 1865
Illinois State Census,Mary is listed as head of the household.
In 1870, she is listed as head of the household with 6
daughters. Youngest being 11/12 of age. All under the name
Patton. In 1880 their daughter, Nancy, is married to William
Frailey, and her mother, Mary, is with her. William frailey was
in prison. Nancy later obtained a divorce in Hardin Countyand
took her maiden name back,"Patton". Can anyone help me locate
