I am researching family names of NEEDHAM, RIGGS, and FRAILEY. My father,Sanders Martin NEEDHAM, was born in Hardin County - Cave-in-Rock, I believe. His mother's maiden name was RIGGS. His paternal grandmother's maiden name was FRAILEY. His father's names was James NEEDHAM who married Melinda RIGGS. If you will post this I will appeciate it. (my grandfather) Joseph B. b. Nov. 1860 Hardin CO Sarah E. b. Feb. 25, 1864 Hardin CO My father Allen Keiffer STACEY was born on the same home place as his father, just outside Elizabethtown IL. William B. STACEY lost the place for taxes during the depression and when I visited it in 1957 my dad said it was some sort of sanctuary owned by the county or state. William Jordan STACEY's father Mashack Shadrack A. STACEY was born Jan. 24, 1806 in Jackson TN.buried in Cemetery Hardin CO. IL. John DAVIS (1813-?), son of Asa DAVIS (1780-1834), came to Hardin County, IL. prior to 1837 from Washington Countiy, OH. Married 1st wife, Nancy SMOCK/HUGHES (1819-1845) abt 1837. Three children; Sarah (1838-1837), Isaac (1840-1918), and Abraham (1845-?). Married 2nd wife abt 1846. Surname SIMMONS, with no other information. Two children; Lydia (1847- 1898) and Mary (?-1898). Mary married a Charlie JACKSON and moved to Kansas in 1873. Looking for information on John's two wives and on Lydia and Mary, half- sisters to my great-grandfather Isaac.

Have found all of Robert and Elizabeth (Guthrie) Patton's children and their descendants except John Allen Patton. He was born ca 1828. He is with his sister, Mrs Elizabeth Melvina PAGE in 1850 Hardin Co. Census. In 1860, he is married to Mary A.____, with three daughters. Elihu Hall wrote in his book "Ballads from the Bluffs" of a Jonnie Patton, who was accused of being associated with Eason Bixby. John A. Patton and Eason Bixby bought land the same day (8 October 1856)in what is Rock Creek Precinct, Hardin County, Illinois. In 1865 Illinois State Census,Mary is listed as head of the household. In 1870, she is listed as head of the household with 6 daughters. Youngest being 11/12 of age. All under the name Patton. In 1880 their daughter, Nancy, is married to William Frailey, and her mother, Mary, is with her. William frailey was in prison. Nancy later obtained a divorce in Hardin Countyand took her maiden name back,"Patton". Can anyone help me locate John A. Patton, wife, Mary and daughters? Thank you very much. My grandfather was the son of James Franklin "Frank" Goins (1894-1934) and Myrtle Fulgum (1893-1960). Frank Goins was the son of mr and Mrs James F. Goins (1865-1932) and his wifes madien name was Gerhardt. Ella Baldwin was born to Walter Baldwin (18?? - 192?) and Kater Carter (1873? - 1941?). James Smith married Martha Lanier? the daughter of Asa. Sarah Smith married Marion Francis McDowell (my gr grandfather) Mary E. Smith, Allen Thomas Smith married Liza Hall the daughter of Wiley and Rachel (Balkley) Hall, Alice Smith married James H Beavers and Horace Davis, Jonathan Smith married Lavina Broy, the daughter of Samuel and Sarah (McClellen) Broy and Amiziah Smith. Allen Smith married 2. Sarah (Conditt) Martin in 1888. I have not been able to find out what happened to James, Mary, Allen Thomas, Jonathan and Amiziah or Allen and his new wife, Sarah. Help! I have information that my GGrandfather, John Abraham SNIDER was born in Hardin, Illinois on September 17, 1861. It appears he also died in Hardin, December 12, 1939. He married Mary Francis HIATT (who was from somewhere in Indiana). I know of 5 children: James SNIDER, Laura Ellen SNIDER (who married Charles E. SHEFF), Ernest SNIDER, Wylace SNIDER and Addy (Adaline)SNIDER. It appears that they moved to Casey, Cumberland County Illinois sometime before July of 1892. I am looking for Josiah CARROLL (possibly an irish cop) who married Elizabeth (Hanks?)and had children while living in Mound City,Pulaski Co.IL. Some of their children were Elmira CARROLL, Mettie CARROLL, Jim CARROLL, Lottie CARROLL and Nettie CARROLL. Their daughter and my great grandmother; Nettie CARROLL was born in 1882 in Mound City, IL and married Robert Houston PARRIS who was born in Providence, KY. They had four children to survive to adulthood. Those children were Farrel PARRIS, Carroll PARRIS, Viola PARRIS and my grandmother, Elizabeth Nola PARRIS born in 1905. Nettie CARROLL died in 1926 in Mound City, IL. Robert Houston PARRIS's sister; Mae PARRIS married my great grandfather William Edward DILLENDER (born 1884 in Harrin,IL.) They had about 13 kids and I know of Edward, William, Osley, Evelyn, Mary, Jesse Ruth, Anabelle, James and Ruby. Some of their children also lived in Evansville,Vanderburgh Co. IN. Their son and my grandfather, James DILLENDER was born in 1904. He married Elizabeth Nola PARRIS in Clarkesville, TN. They lived in Providence KY. They moved from Providence when my mother was small and James DILLENDER died in Evansville,IN in 1945. My grandparents were second cousins so it should narrow my search down one limb but I am not having a lot of luck. Any information about these families past or present would be appreciated

Searching for information on the BALDWIN family who moved to Elizabethtown, Il from Virginia around 1825. They are listed on the 1850 and 1860 federal census for Hardin County, Elizabethtown. On the 1850 census John Baldwin (age 55) was listed as married to Eda/Ede? (age 54) and they had 5 children all born in IL. William, James, Joshua, Elizabeth, and Martha. On the 1860 census, it appears John BALDWIN (age 65) had remarried a Sara (45) and they had 3 children, John, Benjamin, and Charles Slocum BALDWIN. The census says they owned their poperty and may have lived next to the James SHOEMAKER family. I would like to find out Sara's maiden name and where in in Virginia her husband John originated from.
