Our ancestors were not just names and dates, they were real people with distinct features, personalities and interests. Keeping with that, we've begun a photo gallery of people and places related to the history and genealogy of Henry County Illinois.

	Emil and Mary Fahnstrom and their two young daughters, taken in about 1911, the year Ruth was born. The older daughter is Rena. The picture shows the farmhouse in West Sweden, Texas, that Emil built after he and Mary moved to Texas from Illlinois. Contributed by Susan Fahnstrom
