Resident in Wethersfield beginning in 1850.  He was born in 1799 in Sheffield, Mass., moved to Connecticut, then to White Pigeon, Michigan by 1835 and then on to Wethersfield.  He died in Wethersfield in 1887 and is buried in the Wethersfield cemetery.

He married Rhoda Lawrence in CT in 1820 and had a family of 6.  After her death he married Harriet Loomis in 1844 in MI and had 4 more children.  Children from his second marriage were Henry Lyman Kellogg (1845), Charles Albert Kellogg (1848), George Clark Kellogg (1850) and Cynthia Maria Kellogg (1853). 

Contributor has heard that Kellogg Street in Wethersfield was named for him.  He was a prominent farmer and was involved in the building of the cabinets in the (I believe) current Congregational Church in Kewanee.  A lot of information for Albert B. Kellogg came from his great granddaughter Wilma Ray, a longtime resident of Kewanee. 

His daughter Cynthia married another resident of Kewanee, Edward James Ray.  Albert B Kellogg still has descendants living in the area.  He was also a documented descendant of Gov. William Bradford who sailed on the Mayflower.
