Regular meetings of SAR are held at the Jacksonville Area Genealogical & Historical Society Library, 416 S. Meetings are held at the Duncan Mansion, 4 Duncan Place, Jacksonville, at 1:00 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of the month, September through June, unless otherwise designated.  Further information can be obtained from the Community page of the Jacksonville Public Library.

Our society library has a number of sources available to anyone seeking membership in DAR.  The volunteer librarian, Mary Frances Alkire, will help you try to find proof that you are eligible to join.
