Cemeteries
|
Many volunteers have worked very hard to provide the researchers
of Jefferson County a listing of Cemeteries and to provide pictures
of headstones to help you in your personal research.
So please do not take the cemetery listings and pictures
that others have worked so hard to provide and add it
to any other website as your own.
Thank You
for understanding and respecting
the work of others.

Watson, Melville Sept.17,1854
Watson, Son Oct.07,1850
The named Watson, Melville and Watson, Son
both have the inscription on them saying "Son of Joel F & Sarah M".
The one which the web page calls Son Watson was broken in two places;
all that remains is the middle section.
But he was Charles T Watson, born in Nov 1849 (1850 census info),
and wasn't in the 1860 census. Hence, he must have been the one this stone is for.
The mother of the two boys was Sarah Marena Taylor
