Earl ADAMS, died at 8:55 this morning at his home, 321 south Second street, 
at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 11 days.  Mr. Adams was a former em- 
ployee of the Mt. Vernon car shops. 
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Myers Chapel.  The Rev. 
Marsh HARPOLE will officiate and burial will be in the Bethel Memorial cem- 
etery.  Mr. Adams was born January 25, 1890 in Jefferson county, the son of 
James and Bell (BURCHELL) Adams.  He was a lifetime resident of this county. 
In 1911 he was married to Maggie MURPHY, who survives.  Besides his wife 
he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruth AUGUSTOWSKI of Milwaukee, Wis. 
and a number of nieces and nephews.
