Don Clarence Allen

Funeral services for Don Clarence Allen, 81, will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at 
the East Side Baptist Church in this city, with the Rev. Ross Partridge and the 
Rev. Bird Green officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, northeast of Mt. Vernon.
 
The body will lie in state at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix where friends my call at 
any time. At noon, Wednesday, the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until 
the funeral hour. 
 
Mr. Allen, a former resident of Mt. Vernon, died December 20, at 7:30 pm at his home in 
Bell Gardens, California
