Charlie Richard Atchison

Charlie Richard ATCHISON, 69, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday at the home of his brother, 
Everett, in Belle Rive.  Mr. ATCHISON, a lifetime resident of Jefferson County, 
was a retired carpenter.  He was married to Effie GORDON, who preceded him in death 
in 1918.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Hams Grove Church and burial 
will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The body will lie in state at the Ina Funeral Home, 
where friends may call at any time after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Surviving are his mother, Janie FRYAR ATCHISON of Belle Rive; three brothers, Orville 
of Albion and Nacie and Everett of Belle Rive; and three sisters, Arzella HOUSEWORTH and 
Thelma WINN of Belle Rive, and Captola SIMPSON of Argenta, Ill.
