Elly Baker Of Bonnie Died At Age 88 Elly Baker, 88, of Bonnie, died Sept 26, 1989, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center. Mrs. Baker was born May 23, 1901, in Berlin, Germany, a daughter of Max and Bertha (Mesenberg) Fromme. Sept 6, 1924, in Mt. Vernon, she married Harold Baker, who survives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with the Rev. Grant Hawkins and the Rev. Jesse Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Abner Cemetery in Nason. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Baker is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Maxine) Russell of Bonnie, and Mrs. Bill (Deloris) Grahlherr of St. Louis; three granddaughters, Diane Russell, Beth Russell, and Amy Russell; and one grandson, Don Grahlherr. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Elk Prairie Christian Church in Nason. She was preceded in death by her parents.
