Harold Baker




Harold Baker, 98, of Bonnie died 12:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 1997.  
He was a teacher for 42 years.  Mr. Baker was born Jan. 11, 1899, 
in Jefferson County, a son of Alonzo and Grace Mendenhall Baker.  
He was married to Elly Fromme, who died Sept. 26, 1989.  

Services were 10 a.m. Monday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Ina 
with the Rev. Jesse Allen officiating.  Burial was in Abner Cemetery 
in Nason.  Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Johnson Funeral 
Home in Ina.  

Mr. Baker is survived by two daughters, Maxine and husband Clarence Russell 
of Bonnie and Delores and Husband Bill Grahlherr of St. Louis; grandchildren 
Don and wife Paula Grahlherr of St. Louis; Beth and husband Tony Horton of 
Odin; Diane and husband Rick Morris of Mt. Vernon; and Amy Russell of Bonnie; 
and six great-grandchildren.  

Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and 
four sisters.
