Jane Ballard Of Dodds Township Dies at Age 91
 
Mrs. Jane Tobitha Ballard, of Dodds township, died today at the 
home of a daughter, Mrs. Metta Tarro of Elgin., Ill.

Her age was 91 years, one month and 14 days

Mrs. Ballard was born February 10, 1861, the daughter of Pinckney 
and Nancy (Ford) Wells.

She was married to Robert M. Ballard, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Earl, of Mt. Vernon; four daughters, Mrs. 
Metta Tarro of Elgin, Miss Emma Ballard of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Jennie Murray 
of Irvington and Mrs. Ollie Smith of Harvard, Ill.; two brothers John of 
Dallas, Texas and Tom of Paris, Texas' and a sister Mrs. Ollie Malone of 
Dallas, Texas.

Ballard Funeral at 2:00 Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Tobitha Ballard will be held 
Thursday at 2;00 p.m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. L.V. Stevenson 
officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Prarie cemetery.

The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time.

Mrs. Ballard, a resident of dodds township, died Monday at the home of 
a daughter, Mrs. Metta Tarro of Elgin, Ill. She was 91 years of age.

(Her name was Tabitha Jane Wells Ballard)
