Helen Bicanich
Of Bonnie Died
At Age 74


Helen Bicanich, 74, Bonnie, died 4:25 p.m. Dec. 11, 1986 in 
Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was born Aug. 28, 1912, in Jefferson County, a daughter of 
General L. and Ina Berthal (Maneese) Bean.  June 30, 1932, in Mt. Vernon, 
she married Tony Bicanich, who survives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Southwest Church of Christ with 
Mike Hoke and Tim Coonce officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.  
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Saturday at Hughey Funeral Home.  
The body will be moved to the church at 11 a.m. Saturday for visitation from noon until 
the funeral hour.

Memorials may be made to the Southwest Church of Christ and will be accepted at the 
funeral home at any time.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bicanich is survived by two sons, Benny Bicanich and 
wife Debbie and Jack Bicanich and wife Cheryl, all of Bonnie; two daughters, 
Mrs. Ernie (Becky) Martin of Waltonville and Mrs. Joseph (Joyce) Dixon of Mount Prospect; 
three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Beckham of Rockport, Ind., Mrs. Ruth Woelfel of Normal and 
Mrs. Nelda Rowe of Bonnie; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces 
and nephews.

The deceased was member of Southwest Church of Christ, Mary Five Chapter No. 747 Order 
of Eastern Star of Sesser and Dorcas Circle at the Southwest Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rosemary Hirons.
