Mrs. Mary E. BROOKS, died at the hospital this morning at 8:15 aged 51 years. 
Mrs. Brooks was operated upon this week as the last resort but her condition 
was such that she could not survive the shock of the operation. Mrs. Brooks is 
survived by two children, Mrs. Ethel Wills and Floyd Brooks. 
The funeral will be conducted at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon at 
2:30 by Rev. Marion Hull. Interment at Oakwood.
