Nellie G. Buescher
      
Funeral services for Nellie G. Buescher, 52, of Route 6 will held at 1:30 pm 
Friday at the Hughey Funeral Home with the Rev. Olen Weatherford and the Rev. 
John A. Capps officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Friends may call 
after 6 pm today at the funeral home.
            
Mrs. Buescher died early Wednesday morning at her home.
            
She was employed for several years as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell Telephone Co., 
retiring because of failing health.
            
She was born in Mt. Vernon on May 13, 1927, the daughter of Chester and Ruth (Thompson) Chilton.
On Nov. 20, 1943, in St. Joseph, Mo., she married Richard A. Buescher, who survives.
She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church.
            
Besides her husband, Richard, Mrs. Buescher is survived by one son, Michael E. of Bettendorf, Iowa; 
two granddaughters, Carrie and Lori; two brothers, George Chilton of Clarksville and 
William Huffstutler of Forest Hills, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Bandilla of Milford, Mass.; and 
several nieces and nephews.
            
She was preceded in death by one daughter and her parents.
