Franklin Curtis Sanders-Carlile Franklin Curtis Sanders-Carlile, stillborn infant, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was born in Mt. Vernon Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, a son of Jason Daniel Carlile and Victoria Danielle Sanders. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Vernon with the Rev. David G. Mays officiating. Interment will follow. Franklin is survived by his parents, Jason Carlile and Victoria Sanders of Mt. Vernon; four sisters, Kaitlyn Joann, Makayla Danielle, Brittany Nicole and Haley Remie Carlile, all of Mt. Vernon; paternal grandmother, Joann Carlile of Mt. Vernon; maternal grandmother, Pauline Sanders of Granite City; maternal great-grandfather, Eugene Koehler of Granite City; four aunts, Janet Hefner of Mt. Vernon, Melinda Jennings of Granite City, Christel Markle and husband Christopher of Granite City and Nicole Sanders' and fiance Manny Hernandez of Granite City; two uncles, Steven Carlile, Jr. and wife Cathy of Woodlawn and Matthew Carlile and wife Stephanie of Mt. Vernon; and several cousins. His maternal grandfather, Franklin Sanders; his paternal grandfather, Steven Carlile, Sr.; and one uncle, Jimmy Sanders preceded him in death.
