Eliza COOK, and two half brothers, Ed and Barnett CLINTON of Ina.
Mr. CLINTON was a minister of the Gospel and belonged to the New Hope
Free Will Baptist Church and took great interest in the work of the church.
In the years of his active life he worked zealously for the church and enjoyed
the love and respect of all who knew him. He suffered greatly in the long
and weary months in which he was confined to his bed but was ever cheerful.
He was given all care and consideration by his wife and children that love
can lavish. Rev. CLINTON possessed great talent in speaking and singing,
and had a good delivery.
Funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock at the New Hope Church
and were conducted by Rev. M. L. BAKER and Rev. Joe MEADS and W. R. BURTON
and W. R. SPURLOCK. Burial was had at the Kirk Cemetery north of Ina.
