Jennie L. Combs

EDWARDSVILLE - Jennie L. Combs. 93, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Madison
County Nursing Home. 

Born In Mount Vernon, daughter of the late James Wiley and Lydia
Garrison, she married Harry Combs on Dec. 25, 1916. He preceded her in 
death on July 19, 1974.

Surviving are a daughter. Karma L. Parker of Edwardsville; two
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from noon until service time at 1p.m., Friday at
Pletcher Funeral Home where the Rev. Carl Bennett will officiate. 

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. 

The First Presbyterian Church of Edwardsville, where she was a member,
has been suggested as a memorial.
