Silas Nubern COOK, of Ina died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday at the 
Hickory Grove Manor Nursing Home at the age of 91.
 Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ina Funeral
Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Pickens officiating. Burial will be in Kirk 
cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Funeral Home, where friends 
may call after 4 p.m. today.
 Mr. Cook was born in Illinois on Nov. 22, 1878, the son of John and Eliza
(Clinton) Cook. Survivors include his wife, Nona Cook of Bonnie; three sons,
Milliage of Ina, Leo and Sylvan, both of Aurora; a step son Ray Riggs of Windsor;
two daughters, Mrs. Edna Settle of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Lena Book of Ina; two 
step daughters, Mrs. Loretta Hertenstein of Bonnie and Mrs. Pearl Boothby of
Farmington, Mo.; a brother, Ray Cook of Ina; a sister, Nona Newell of Ina 20 
grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
