FRANK CRENSHAW DIED LAST NIGHT AT FAMILY HOME
Was for many years employed with Swift & Co. and was
an excellent citizen. Funeral Sunday afternoon.
Frank Crenshaw died last night at his home, 829 Park Ave.
Mr. Crenshaw was a victum of Typhoid fever, it is stated.
He was 43 years old March 23 of this year.
Mr Crenshaw is survived by three children, Helen, Olive and
Kenneth. His wife and one child died about six years ago.
He was the son of John Crenshaw formerly a well known Mt.
Vernon man. The father died a few months ago.
Mr. Crenshaw was employed at the Swift & Company plant, and
had been with the company many years.
He was a model citizen, an industrious man, and always attended
strictly to business. He was of the type of citizen that is an asset
to any community. He was a member of the Modern Woodsmen Camp
1919, and the camp will meet at the hall at l o'clock tomorrow afternoon
to attend his funeral in a body.
Friends may view the body at the home tomorrow between the hours of
12pm and 2pm.
Funeral services will be held at the Park Avenue Baptist Church tomorrow
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by the Rev. C.W. Mauldtag and the
Rev. Bird Green. Burial will follow at Oakwood.
The Modern Woodmen will be in charge of the services at the grave.
