Mrs. Ada Belle CROSNOE, died at 12:40 am today at her home at 
1009 Vaught St. at the age of 72 years, 3 mos. and 22 days. 
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 am at Myers Chapel 
with R.B.GUTHRIE officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. 
The body will remain at MYERS funeral chapel where friends may call 
at any time after 10:00 am Sunday. 

Mrs. CROSNOE was born Sept. 15, 1880 in Dix, the daughter of Isaac 
and Laura Elliot CARPENTER. She had been a resident of Mt. Vernon for 
53 years. She was married to J.W. CROSNOE, who survives. Mrs. CROSNOE 
was a member of the Dix Methodist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived 
by one daughter, Mrs. J.F. BROOKS of Mt. Vernon, a foster son Robert C. 
CROSNOE, a sister, Mrs. O.G. BERRY of Decatur, IL, a brother Walter CARPENTER 
of Belleflower,CA, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A son, Golden C. 
CROSNOE, preceded her in death.
