DIES AT COUNTY FARM - Aged Umbrella Mender Passes Away Sunday J. H. DAVIS, who will be remembered by many of our citizens as the venerable unbrella mender, and was a conspicuous figure on the streets until forced by illness to abandon his occupation, died at the County Farm Sunday. Davis entered the institution last May a complete physical wreck and never recovered his health. His age was 66 years and he was born in Kentucky, but was not known to have any living relatives in this vicinity. Source: Mt.
