She was united in marriage to John W. Earls on April 11, 1891 and to this union

Mrs. Earls had been ill for the past five months when she underwent an operation
at the Mt. Vernon Hospital last April. Since then she has been confined to her bed
and has gradually grown weaker until her death.
Mrs. Earls was one of the best known residents of McClellan Township where she had
spent her entire life. She was converted many years ago to the Methodist faith and
always lived the life of a sincere Christian.
Her loss will be deeply felt in her hem where she was a loving and devoted wife and
mother and in the community where she was a useful and respected citizen. the loving
sympathy of a wide circle of friends and acquaintances is with the bereaved family
in their hour of sorrow.
