Blanch ELLIS, of 601 Harrison street died at 9:55 p.m. Saturday at the 
Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 77.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. 
Tuesday at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Everett LEMAY officiating. 
Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. 
Mrs. Ellis was born in Mt. Vernon on September 17, 1892, the daughter of 
James A. and Nellie F. Oakley. She was first married to Jess W. "Sport" ALLEN, 
who preceded her in death.  On Dec. 7, 1967 she married Everett Ellis.  He survives. 
Other survivors include a granddaughter, Mrs. Paul (Pat) Smith of 
Chicago, and two great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother and a daughter.
