Susan B. Estes

Susan B. Estes, born November 17, 1838; departed this life April 8, 1926; age, 
eighty-seven years, four months and twenty-one days.  She was united in 
marriage to John W. Estes, January 16, 1858.  To this union were born eight 
children, five boys and three girls, four of whom,  with her husband, preceded 
her to the great beyond.  She professed hope in Christ more than fifty years 
ago, and united with Moore's Prairie Baptist church, where she retained her 
membership until death.  Sister Estes was of a kind and affectionate 
disposition and to know her was to love her.  She leaves to mourn her 
departure, one brother, one sister, four sons, twenty-eight grandchildren; 
forty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  Sister Estes 
will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Funeral services conducted by the 
writer, April 18, at Pleasant View Baptist Church....F. L. Karn
