George Washington Fryar

George Washington Fryar of Spring Garden died at 5 o'clock last Wednesday 
afternoon of a heart attack.  He was 60 years old.  Mr. Fryar was being taken 
to a doctor by his wife and daughter when his death occurred.  

He is survived by his wife, the former Lottie Dunavan; one son, Johnny Earl Fryar 
of Indiana; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth, at home; two brothers, Harve of Mt. Vernon 
and Louis of Ina; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Ellen Kniffen of Mt. Vernon.  

Funeral services were held at 6 p. m. Sunday at the Hams Grove Church, conducted 
by Rev. Marsh Harpole and Rev. Marshall Hamilton.  Burial took place at Hams Grove 
cemetery.
