Walton Hodge, well known Waltonville farmer, died at ten o'clock
last night at Mt. Vernon hospital at the age of 49 years, 11 months and ten days.
He underwent an operation for appendicitis Tuesday, April 9.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist
church in Waltonville, where friends may call at any time up to the funeral hour.
Mr. Hodge was the son of W. A. and Cora B. Hodge, both of whom preceded him in death.
He is survived by his widow, Elsie; four daughters, Eleanor, Melba, Ida Bell and Selma,
all of Waltonville: two brothers, Guy and Lester Hodge of Mt. Vernon; and two sisters,
Velma Dalby and Opal Newell of Waltonville.
A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
