Rachel Catherine Manley Holland

OBITUARY:  In the Mt. Vernon Register News published on Monday, March 15, 
1954, we read: "Mrs. Rachel Catherine Holland, of 605 Herbert Street, died at 
5:10 a.m. today at Good Samaritan Hospital.  She was 83 years, four months 
and 29 days of age.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at 
Myers Chapel, with the Rev. S. W. Sheborn officiating. ... Friends may call 
at Myers Chapel after 10 a.m. Tuesday."  Her husband  preceded her in death 
over two decades ago. "Mrs. Holland was a member of the Royal Neighbors of 
America.  She is survived by a daughter, ... two sons, ...  a brother, ...
