Pearl Holloway Pearl Holloway, 85, a retired coal miner, of Waltonville was found dead of an apparent heart attack at his home at 4:30 p.m. yesterday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Fry Funeral Home in Waltonville. The Rev. Floyd Hartley will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Baptist Cemetery. The body will lie in state after 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Fry Funeral Home, where friends may call. The son of John and Lucinda (Darnell) Holloway, Mr. Holloway was born in Jefferson county on Oct. 7, 1886. He was married in 1942, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to the former Estelle Loman who survives. Mr. Holloway was a member of the Waltonville grade school and high school board for several years. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America and Untited Mine Workers of America, Local 9111. He served as an Elk Prairie Democratic Precinct committeeman for over 60 years. Note from submitter: Per his stone Pearl was born Oct. 7, 1886 and died Oct. 8, 1971.
