Elza Hutchison died at 4:45 p.m. at his home, 1418 north 11th street at the 
age of 68 years, five months, and 23 days.  Mr. Hutchison, retired, was a 
funeral director for 25 years at the Kurrus Funeral Home in East St. Louis.   
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Myers Chapel with the 
Rev. Ross Partridge officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in 
Hamilton County.  The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends 
may call after 4:00 p.m. today.  Mt. Hutchison was born Sept. 18, 1898, in 
McLeansboro, the son of Solon and Anna {Wessic} Hutchison.  At McLeansboro, 
Sept. 10, 1918 he was married to Stella Hughes; who survives.  He is also 
survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Butler of New Athens, ILL, and Mrs. 
Nina Watts of Milton, ILL; two brothers, Elmer Hutchison of McLeansboro, and 
Trafton Hutchison of Youngstown, AZ; a sister Hazel Sigler of Pekin, Ill; 
seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
