Of Bonnie Died
At Age One

Charles Earl Karn, Jr., little son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Earl Karn of 
RFD 1, Bonnie, died at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

The child was one year, three months and two days of age.

Charles, Jr., who had been a patient in the hospital for four weeks, died 
from nephritis, a kidney ailment.

The child was born November 12, 1953 in Mt. Vernon, the son of Charles Earl 
and Verice (Malcom) Karn.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Logan Street Baptist 
church.  The Rev. Otho Williams will officiate and burial will be in Bethel Memorial cemetery.

Friends of the family may call at Myers Chapel after 10 a.m. Wednesday.  The body 
will be moved to the church at noon Thursday.

Besides the parents, the child is survived by the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Earl Karn of  (Mt.) Vernon and Mr. and Mrs. (torn off) Malcom of Noble, Ill.
