J. M. Kirk

J. M. KIRK of Nason, died a 5:00 o'clock this morning at the age of 
90 years, ten months and 20 days. Mr. KIRK was a retired farmer.  
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Elk Prairie 
Christian Church and burial will be in Abner Cemetery. The body will 
remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Mr. KIRK was born December 11, 1864 in Jefferson County, the son of 
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew KIRK. He was a lifetime resident of this county. 
He was married to Melissa HODGE, who preceded him in death February 20, 1946.  
His only survivor is a nephew, Harry FAIRCHILD, of Waltonville.
