Louisa (McDaniel) LEUTY,
born October 4, 1879 & died June 4, 1958
Louisa McDaniel Leuty, daughter of Johnnie and Rose McDaniel,
was born October 4, 1879, and passed away June 4, 1958.
She was united in marriage to Edward Leuty November 8, 1897.
To this union was born 5 sons and 2 daughters: Walter of Homer,
Ill., Roscoe of Earlville, Ill., Dennis of Potost, Mo., Jim and
Clarence of California, Altris Ferguson of Kell, and Minnie Bell
De Veau of Kodiac, Alaska. She professed her hope in Christ
September 30, 1923 and united with the Pleasant Grove Baptist
Church, remaining a member until death. She was a good neighbor
and a friend to all her knew her. She leaves to mourn her the
above named children, also 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren,
and one sister, Mrs. Tom Parker of Salem, Ill., and a host of
relatives and friends. Her husband passed away in 1935, also 4
grandchildren preceded her in death. "Wherefore by their fruits
ye shall know them" And she was faithful to her family and home.
She truly bore the word Mother so rich and so divine. Life was
earnest with her and the grave was not the goal. Could any but
God have given a more beautiful reward? Then what awaits her?
"Rest". We wish to thank all those who helped in any way at the
time of death or our Dear Mother, Lou Leuty. The children of Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Leuty
