Zulla Ligon

Mrs. Zulla LIGON, wife of Dan, died at 12 o'clock noon Sunday at the family home, 
known as the Cal BROWN farm near New Hope. The family lived on this farm for the 
last 30 years. Mrs. LIGON was born near Bethel in Franklin County 58 years ago.  
She was united in marriage with Dan LIGON 35 years ago. Before her marriage her 
name was RICHARDSON.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Ruie FISHER of Chicago; 
Guy LIGON of Benton; Mrs. Wilma COOK of Ina; Mrs. Edith ODLE of Akin; Mrs. Marie BOWMAN 
of Xenia; William, Charles, Edward and Wanda at home; and one step-daughter, Mrs. 
Felix DRENNAN of Ina; six grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held today at 1 p.m. in the Free Will Baptist Church in Ina, 
conducted by the Rev. W. R. BURTON, and burial followed in Bethel Cemetery Franklin County.

Mrs. LIGON was for many years a member of the Free Will Baptist Church and its work.  
She was faithful to all the duties of wife and mother, and her home and loved ones were 
uppermost in her heart.
