OBITUARIES |
Seburn W. Mannen Seburn W. Mannen, 80, of 418 N. 9th St., died at 4 p.m. Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Mannen was born in Waltonville on Nov. 26, 1892, the son of Josiah H. and Mary (McNail) Mannen. His grandparents were the founders of the town of Waltonville. On Oct. 10, 1913, Mr. Mannen was married to Addie Hirons, who survives. Mr. Mannen was a farmer. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. C. W. Coats officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Myers Chapel after 6 p.m. Saturday. in addition to his wife, Addie, Mr. Mannen is surivived by one daughter, Helen Chaney, Mt. Vernon, two grandchildren, Ann Young, Los Angeles, and Janice Chaney, Mt. Vernon; and one great-grandchild.
