Ruby O. McAtee 
Dies; Funeral 
At Waltonville


Mrs. Ruby O. McAtee 82, of Waltonville died at 12:50 p.m. Friday in 
Good Samaritan Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. 
Monday at the Fry Funeral Home in Waltonville with the Rev. Jim Piercy 
officiating. Burial will be in Knob Prairie cemetery. The body will lie 
in state at the funeral home where friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Sunday. 

Mrs. McAtee, was born July 16, 1885, in Ballard county, Kentucky, the daughter 
of George and Mary E. (Laur) Muray. On July 9, 1927, at Vycliffe, Ky., she 
was married to Edward McAtee, who survives. She is also survived by a sister, 
Mrs. Opal Elliston of  Waltonville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in 
death by a sister. Mrs. McAtee was a member of the Long Prairie Christian church.
