GLEN MCCOWEN SESSER DIES

Glen McCowen, 47, of Sesser, died Saturday at Miners Hospital 
of an apparent Heart Attack. He was born April 2, 1921, in Waltonville. 
He was an insurance salesman. He leaves his wife, the former Barbara Penrod 
of Sesser; His mother, Mrs. Lola McCowen of Sesser; a step-daughter, Judy Loman 
of Bonnie; a step-son, Gregory at home; half sisters, Mrs. May Haley of Waltonville, 
Mrs. Ruth Harris of Tamaroa, Mrs. Dorris Cockrum of Waltonville, and Mrs. Fay Campbell 
of Benton; and a step-brother David McCowen of Waltonville. 
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Brafield Funeral Home, Sesser with 
the Rev. Tracy Dees officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends 
may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today
