RUTH ANN MERRIMAN

Ruth Ann McGehee Merriman , 80, of Mt. Vernon, 
died 4:45 a.m. June 16, 1999, at Mt. Vernon Care Center. 

Born April 13, 1919, in Jefferson County, she was a 
daughter of Ed and Edna (Taylor) Merriman. 

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Johnston Funeral Home 
in Mt. Vernon, with the Rev. Buss Hart officiating. 
Burial will be at South Hickory Hill Cemetery 
in Bonnie. 

Survivors include daughters Patsy Michael of Jackson, Mich., 
and Jacque Wadsworth and husband Gary of Phoenix, Ariz.; 
brothers Alva and Verner Merriman, both of Mt. Vernon; and 
seven grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
