Ratliff, Richard and Rattliff, Hetty
Richard Ratliff and four brothers came from western Virginia, via Kentucky
to settle scattered areas of Illinois. Richard, born 1792 and Hethy Miller,
born 1797, were married in Kentucky. They settled in Gallatin County in 1818,
where their only child, Wesley, was born.
(This book lists Richard’s wife as Hethy in several places, the stone lists
her name as Hetty)
