Clyde Reeves Passes Away

Clyde Wright Reeves, a citizen of Ina during 
the past several years, died at 8 p.m. Saturday 
at the home of his father, J. A. Reeves, where 
he resided.  He was 42 years of age.  

Mr. Reeves was born at Scheller, Jefferson County, 
Illinois, the son of J. A. and Cora E. Reeves.  

Clyde worked at various occupations in different 
cities before his health failed a few years ago and 
he had since resided here.  

He is survived by his father, J. A. Reeves of Ina; 
three brothers, Verner Reeves of Dahlgren, Raymond 
Reeves of Iowa, and Joe Reeves of Nashville, Tenn., 
and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Fry of Ashley.  

Clyde was an honest, friendly man who had many friends 
here.  He seldom complained of his afflictions.  

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the 
Fry Funeral Home in Ina.  Burial was at the Old Baptist 
cemetery at Winfield.
