Adam Francis Rightnowar

Adam Francis Rightnowar, 80, of Route 2, Waltonville, died at 8:40 p.m. 
Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mr. Rightnowar was born in Jefferson county on Jan. 21, 1893, the son of 
Adam Francis and Harriett (Jiles) Rightnowar. On April, 4, 1917, he was 
married, in Jefferson county, to Minnie Marie Fairchild, who died in 1963.
He was an elder and member of the Long Prairie christian church, where funeral 
services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with Jim Piercy, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Knob Prairie cemetery, at Waltonville.
Friends may call at the Fry Funeral Home in Waltonville after 6 p.m. Saturday.  
The body will be moved to the church at noon Sunday.

Mr. Rightnowar is survived by three sons, Merle and Orval, both of Mt. Vernon, and 
Bill, of Woodlawn; two daughters, Mrs. Myreta Barton, Waltonville, and Mrs. Doris Brown, 
Woodlawn; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sam, Waltonville, 
and Homer, Mt. Vernon; and a sister, Mrs. Ora Plowman, Mt. Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother, one sister and his parents.
