Leslie Standerfer
Leslie (Les) Standerfer of 801 south 25th street died at 8:05 p.m. 
Wednesday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital at the age of 70 years, 
seven months, and 22 days.

Mr. Standerfer was an employee of the Sinclair Oil Company until retirement.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Myers Chapel with the 
Rev. James Franks officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Memorial cemetary.
The body will lie in stateat Myers Chapel where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Standerfer was born Oct. 28, 1891, in Hamilton county the son of the Rev. Wilburn and 
Rebecca (Davis) Standerfer. In Mt. Vernon, in 1911, he was married to Jennie V. Bearden 
who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Emory Locey of Herrin; a brother, 
W.M. Standerfer of this city; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Standerfer was a member of the Logan Street baptist church.
