Martha A. THOMPSON

Mrs. Martha A. THOMPSON (nee JOHNSON) died of typhoid fever at her home
in this city on Monday morning, October 4, aged about 46 years. Born
and raised near Macedonia, Franklin County, this state, she was there
married to Wilson V. THOMPSON of Dodds township, this county who died
two miles southwest of this city on March 3, 1874. Three married and
three single daughters are left to mourn her loss. Mrs. THOMPSON was a
life long Methodist. She was buried by the side of her husband at the
Pace Graveyard on Tuesday morning, Rev. W. A. BROWDER officiating.
