Margaret Wegmann


Mrs. Margaret Wegmann, 63, of Route 1, Woodlawn, died at 4;15 a.m. 
at Good Samaritan Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. 
Sunday at Mt. Catherine Christian Church, with the Rev. Gene Marlow and 
the Rev. Leroy Piercy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. 
Friends may call at Myers Chapel after 5 p.m. Saturday. The body will be 
taken to the church at noon Sunday.

Mrs. Wegmann was born September 25, 1910, in Jefferson County, the daughter 
of Henry and Susan (Fiser) Piercy. Mrs. Wegmann was married August 22, 1927, 
to Ed Wegmann.  He survives. She was a member of the Mt. Catherine Church. 
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Harold E., of Woodlawn, and 
Jerry L., of Winter Park, Fla., a daughter, Mrs. Sue Connaway of Woodlawn; a 
brother Walter Piercy, of Boyd, six sisters, Mrs. Nellie German, of Woodlawn, 
Mrs. Ida Carpenter of Woodlawn, Mrs. Faye Poorman,of Woodlawn, Mrs. Ada Harvey, 
of Dix, Mrs. Lillie Marlow, of Dix, Mrs. May Harvey of Geneva; and four grandchildren.
