Mrs. James White Dies In Opdyke; Is Buried Today Mrs. James W. White, 65, died at two o'clock yesterday afternoon in Opdyke after an illness of more than a week. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Opdyke this afternoon and burial followed in Opdyke cemetery. Mrs. White is survived by her husband, James W. White; one son, Harry White and a brother, Arthur Brougher, all of Opdyke; four sisters, Mrs. Nora Quail of Decatur, Mrs. H. B. Hicks of East St. Louis, Mrs. George Rogers of Breeze and Mrs. John O. Payne of Mt. Vernon, She was the daughter of A. D. and Samantha Brougher, both of whom preceded her in death several years ago. Source: Mt.
