OBITUARIES |
Foster Whitlock The death of Foster WHITLOCK, aged about 65 years, occurred at his home, two miles west of Dix, Wednesday night, of pneumonia. He was a soldier in the Civil War and was one of the best citizens in the county; his neighbors and acquaintances speak of him in the highest terms. Mr. WHITLOCK was a valuable member of the M. E. Church and a member who will be greatly missed. His wife and 13 children survive him; Mrs. G. M. RUSH, of this city, is a daughter. The funeral arrangements have not been decided on as yet, but will be announced later. **END I didn't see anything more about the arrangements. Jefferson County, IL Death Register - Volume II.
