Mrs. Sarah WHITLOCK, aged 73 years, died last night at _:25 o'clock at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Lena TATE, 410 Main Street. Mrs. WHITLOCK was the widow
of F. E. WHITLOCK who died in 1905. She formerly resided in Dix but for years
had made her home with her children. For six years Mrs. WHITLOCK had been confined
to a wheel chair, being a victim of paralysis, and for the past year had been bedfast.
Mrs. WHITLOCK was a life long member of the Methodist Church. She took great interest
in the church and was loyal and faithful to its teachings.
She was a mother of 15 children, ten of whom are living. They are Mrs. Lena TATE,
Mrs. ___le RUSH of Mt. Vernon; H. W. WHITLOCK of Harrisburg; C. A. WHITLOCK;
Wayne WHITLOCK of Spear___th Dakota; Mrs. Minnie ______ Bluff, Neb.; Mrs. Versa _____ Nisland,
South Dakota; _______ WHITLOCK, Texico; Mrs. _____ THOMPSON of Dix; and Rev. O. WHITLOCK of Lebanon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock in the morning at the Frame
Church at ______ and interment will follow at _______stone graveyard.
Rev. J. C. _______ & S. A. Mathews will have charge of the service.
