Margery Williams Mt. Vernon Mrs. Margery Pauline Williams, 72, of Route 4, Mt. Vernon, died at 7:40 p.m. Friday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hughey-Pulley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Buss Hart officiating. Burial will be in the Williams cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Hughey-Pulley Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Williams was born December 26, 1897, in Cider, Ky., the daughter of Robert J. and Mary Elizabeth Williamson. She was married to James Calvin Williams, who preceded her in death in 1950. Survivors include two sons, Calvin Williams of Mt. Vernon and Howard Williams of Bonnie; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Williams of Alton and Mrs. Marie Peyton of Mt. Vernon; Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Baptist church of White Sulfur Springs, Ky., the Eastern Star of Opdyke and a charter member of the Jefferson County Home Bureau.
