Carl Yearwood



Carl Yearwood, son of S. J. and Ritta Yearwood, was born April 17, 
1879, departed this life Oct. 10, 1914, at 11:15 a.m. being at the time of 
his death 35 years, 5 months and 23 days old. He leaves to mourn his 
departure a father, mother, one brother, Robert; and three sisters, Mrs. 
Willie Lisenby and Miss Anna Yearwood of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Clyde 
Starkey of Peru, Ill.; and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his 
loss, but we grieve not as those who have no hope for our loss is Heaven’s 
gain. 
Funeral services at Wesley M. E. church at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Interment 
at Sursa.
