Will of John Little 1837 Source: Johnson County Probate Journal Microfilm #0965635 The Last Will and testament of John Little. Being low in boddily thought but of sound mind & memory made in his last illness on the 17th day of January A. D. 1837. 1st. This place where house stands in (31) 4 Johns my oxen Cart & guin**? and the filly * the Colt of the old mares is for him. 2nd. the Piece of land in one is Burells. the balance of the property I want kept together for the benefit of my family & not Sold. I want the old Lady to be Chief in Command and keep the Children together as much as possible & when she goes the next oldest in family takes Command then Property to be Equally divided between all that is alive.

Spoken in Presance of Robert Little, John Copeland, Georg Henson(?), Sarah Little and James Copeland. State of Illinois
In testimony I have herein to set my hand and affixt my Private Seal thare being no Seal of office yet Provided. this 3rd day of February A. D. 1837.
